Wing Over Pacific N. West – an ode

On my way home from my trip to see ZooStation in Seattle via Vancouver/Edmonton and we have the most incredible view over the Pacific Northwest tonight. A near cloudless sky is giving us so many gorgeous vistas I had to get the iPhone out to take a few pics.

Some of you will remember Edge’s Twitpic from the time they spent out in Vancouver between the Winnipeg and Edmonton shows. He took a similar picture which you can view here.

I’ve taken a ton such photos over the years out the windows of airplanes, and I’ve always tried to get the wing in because, well, it looks really cool. (I think the first one I ever did was one of Greenland when I flew to the UK in 1992 if i remember correctly.) So, imagine my delight when Edge took one himself over a part of my country that still takes my breath away.
